Can you support the point of sale system we already use?

In most cases, yes. We support the hardware, network and workstations your point of sale depends on, and we deal with the POS vendor directly when the fix has to come from their side.

Does working with Axcede make us PCI DSS compliant?

Compliance is something your business attests to, and it covers how your people handle cards as well as how your technology is built. What we take on is the technical groundwork: segmenting the network so the payment environment is isolated, controlling access, patching, logging and monitoring, configured to support the requirements you are assessed against.

We have several locations. Do you have to visit each one?

Rarely. Monitoring, patching and most troubleshooting happen remotely across every site at once. On-site visits are for hardware, cabling and new store builds, and those are quoted before we go.

What happens if the network goes down while we are trading?

You call us and we start immediately. Where staying open matters most, we can design in a second connection so the payment path keeps working while the main line is restored.
